Both are made from the same thick board. A collapsible rigid box has hinged walls, so it folds flat: it is cheaper to ship, easier to store and takes very little space until you need it. A standard rigid box is delivered already assembled.

The minimum order for custom foldable rigid boxes is 50 boxes. From there you can order 100, 250, 500, 1,000 or more, and we can produce up to 100,000 boxes a month.

Yes. We can use brown kraft card as the top layer, with recyclable board beneath it. We offer more than 200 coloured kraft cards, including brown, white, blue, red and purple, so you do not have to pay for printing a base colour. All of these coloured materials are recyclable when used without lamination, and every box is made to your custom size.

Yes. A box can close on hidden magnets or with a ribbon, and there are more than 100 ribbon colours to choose from, including white, black, pink, blue and yellow. Inserts are cut to hold your product in place.

We use 1000 gsm (60 pt) board for small boxes, and 1200 gsm (70 pt) or 1300 gsm (75 pt) board for larger ones. For a big box, or where more strength is needed, the board can be made thicker still.

Yes. Orders start at 50 boxes, which suits a product launch, and go up through 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 to 100,000 boxes.

A folded box is less than 0.7 cm thick, including its side collars. Its flat width and length depend on the size of the finished box.

For a product sold to high-end customers, where opening the pack should feel like luxury, a foldable or collapsible rigid box is the better choice. For lower-priced products a folding carton does the job well. We can supply folding cartons too if you need them.
